RE/MAX Rental Pros has built a reputation for providing professional, experienced, and courteous service to Nanaimo and the surrounding area’s tenants.

Market

We will take advertising photos, virtual tours and floorplans, advertise on our website, Facebook Marketplace and other popular local
advertising sites, as well as in house advertising.

Leasing

We will complete a thorough Tenancy Agreement and addenda (preparation of Form K for strata
properties) and collect the security deposit at time of lease signing.

Tenant selection

We will offer our advice and recommendations to assist the owner with selection of
the tenant and it is not until an owner is comfortable with the applicant that we will move
forward to sign up an applicant into a lease.

Management

We will Perform periodic inspections at pre-determined intervals, noting any required repairs, safety
hazards, lease violations, etc. Two periodic inspections per year are included in our
management agreement.

Why is it considered necessary to register Agreement for Sale?

The Registration Act, 1908, the Transfer of Property Act, 1882 and the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 mandates the registration of an agreement for sale of an immovable property. By registering the agreement for sale of an immovable property, it becomes a permanent public record. Further, a person is considered as the legal owner of an immovable property only after he gets such property registered in his name.
